Preston Hall

Preston Hall has been practicing as a physical therapist since 1997 when he completed his Master’s degree in physical therapy from Univ of Alabama at Birmingham. He later completed his Doctoral degree in physical therapy from Northeastern Univ in Boston. Preston founded MountainTop Physical Therapy & Wellness Center in 2002 and has enjoyed working in Park City since 2000. Preston’s favorite activities include basketball, trail running, mountain biking, weight lifting, camping, fishing, and spending time with his wife Janette, five children, and one grandson.

Preston specializes in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation and particularly focuses on helping his patients achieve a full recovery and turning the corner into a comprehensive fitness regimen to prepare them for lifelong health and wellness.  Preston is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Preston has spent a great deal of time with the athletic population as a team physical therapist/trainer and has been on the sidelines for many a sports contest. However, Preston thrives on the diversity of his clientele and enjoys working with all ages and abilities. Preston has worked closely with most of the surgeons in Park City and Salt Lake and is well versed in post-op protocols and the thorough understanding of what transpired during his patients’ surgeries. Stacy Lowe

Stacy Lowe completed her Masters and Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University in Boston. She has been working at MountainTop Physical Therapy and Wellness Center in Park City, UT since then, advancing her career as an Integrative Physical Therapist. Her article “Chronic Subclinical Systemic Inflammation as Measured by C-reactive Protein and its Relationship to Physical Therapy” was published in Orthopedic Practice in 2009. Stacy utilizes biomechanical evaluation, nutritional counseling, and wellness education to enhance her treatments. Her practice focuses on manual therapy including osteopathic and craniosacral techniques, as well as corrective exercises. She enjoys multiple outdoor activities in Park City, using her experiences to help prepare her patients for return to sport and injury prevention.

Shaun Adams

Shaun is a native of Utah, and has been practicing physical therapy for the past 24 years. Throughout his career, Shaun has specialized in treatment in a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues with a particular interest in spine, knee, and shoulder related issues. Shaun received his degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has been a part of the MountainTop family for over 9 years. Shaun, his wife and children love the area and are excited about the opportunities working in this community and with MountainTop Physical Therapy. When Shaun isn’t working, he enjoys fly fishing, mountain biking, baseball and skiing.

Ryan Voss

Ryan Voss

Ryan Voss has been a treating Physical Therapist at MountainTop Physical Therapy since 2014 and the Clinical Director and Practice Manager since 2020. He is a graduate of Midwestern University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and received his B.S. in Exercise Science from Trinity Christian College in Illinois. Ryan was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago and lived in Arizona while pursuing his graduate degree. He has experience working with patients of all levels, including olympic, professional, and collegiate athletes. His treatment focuses on manual therapy and corrective therapeutic exercises to promote restoration of improved mechanics and functional mobility in order to allow for full recovery and participation in recreational activities. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, biking, working out, hiking, and camping. Ryan presented his research on Scapular Strength vs Pec Minor Length at APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting 2014.

Michelle Ruckel

Michelle Ruckel

Michelle completed a double BS in Athletic Training and Exercise Science prior to receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University. Before becoming a physical therapist, Michelle worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) at Westminster College and Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City providing medical coverage for collegiate gymnastics, football, baseball, volleyball, and basketball as well as all sports disciplines at the high school level. Her experience working in competitive athletics has better prepared her as a physical therapist to reach for higher therapeutic outcomes and take her patients back to full recovery and beyond. Michelle’s desire for learning and expanding her skillset have led her to participate in an extensive number of continuing education courses focusing on manual therapy techniques, dry needling, and restorative movement. Her interests include rehabilitation of all orthopedic issues, return-to-sport in all skill levels, biomechanical analysis of running to prevent overuse injuries, and movement re-education for injury reduction. She practices an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to treatment with a passion for returning her patients back to a healthy, active lifestyle.

Michelle is a Park City native, and in her free time she enjoys all things dirt and snow that the Park City mountains have to offer with her husband and two dogs.

Alex Haupt

Alex Haupt
PT

Alex completed two bachelor's degrees in Biology and Kinesiology prior to graduating from the University of Utah's Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2021. Alex has worked at Mountain Top since 2015 as a rehab tech, and has continued his career here as a physical therapist. Alex grew up in the Park City area and was a competitive ski jumper for over 20 years. He was drawn to the profession through his own experiences with physical therapy, and is excited to be able to help patients achieve their goals. His treatment philosophy centers around manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education in the rehabilitation process. Alex has received his certification in dry needling and has been treating patients with great success. When away from the clinic, Alex enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his wife and family.

Kate Addis

Kate Addis
PT, DPT

Kate Addis graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She went on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Kate worked as Clinic Director and Lead Physical Therapist in Las Vegas, NV before moving to Austin, TX where she continued to practice Physical Therapy in a variety of settings including Neuro Rehab and Home Health. Kate and her husband spent several Winters in Park City, drawn by their love of the mountains and Kate would work seasonally treating primarily orthopedic and sports related injuries until moving fulltime to Park City in 2019. Kate also worked several years as a Clinical Specialist for a Medical Device company teaching and training other Therapists on a robotic exoskeleton for neuro rehab. Kate has treated patients across the continuum of care; rehabilitating injury, disease and dysfunction, promoting optimum movement and facilitating functional independence. It is Kate’s passion to empower others to lead healthy enriched lives and to positively impact her community through innovative care. 

Kristen Cunningham

Kristen Cunningham
PT, DPT

Kristen completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Chapman University and received her B.S in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from California Baptist University. Kristen grew up in Santa Barbara, California where she was co-founder of Santa Barbara Community Physical Rehabilitation—a nonprofit physical therapy clinic for the underserved population. She has completed coursework in Post Concussion Rehabilitation and Craniosacral Therapy and is an Impact Trained Physical Therapist. She has experience treating patients with Orthopedic, Neurologic, and Vestibular pathologies. She takes care to implement individualized treatment plans for each patient while prioritizing their rehabilitation goals. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys playing soccer, beach volleyball, trail running with her Rhodesian Ridgeback, skiing and mountain biking with her husband, and spending time with close friends and family. Kristen is excited to use her skills in biomechanics, movement analysis, various manual therapy techniques, and knowledge in post-operative protocols in order to facilitate patient’s return to functional and recreational activities

Makay graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions after completing an Exercise Physiology degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Makay joined our team prior to attending physical therapy school as a rehab tech. He returns to Mountain Top as a physical therapist and enjoys working with various diagnoses. He takes pride in helping everyone feel comfortable and excited about their rehab process. He is motivated in helping patients understand their injuries and working with them to achieve their goals.

Makay grew up in the near by town of Henefer. During his free time he enjoys playing basketball, golfing, camping, and going on Jeep rides in the mountains with his family.

Brittany Gubler

Brittany Gubler

Brittany has been with Mountain Top since 2016. She is from Heber City, Utah, and resides there now. Brittany received her bachelors in exercise science at the University of Utah where she played basketball for 3 years. After graduating in 2009 in Exercises Science with a focus on physiology. She then attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy that fall and graduated in 2010. She then decided that physical therapy was the place to be and went to Provo College to receive her PTA degree in 2015.

Brittany spends her spare time with her two boys and husband, going to her kid’s sporting events, riding side by sides, and spending time outdoors.

Mandy Antinori

Mandy Antinori

Mandy has been a part of the MountainTop team since 2018. She has been a certified athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist since 1999. She studied Kinesiology- Athletic Training in undergrad at San Diego State University and Kinesiology- Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Clinical Instruction in grad school at Georgia Southern University. She returned to school to add Physical Therapist Assistant from Salt Lake Community College in 2016. Mandy is also SFMA certified.

Mandy has worked extensively with traditional sports, individual sports, endurance, ultra-edurance and multi-sport athletes, winter sports athletes, mountain sports athletes and musicians. She has a special interest in sports medicine, orthopedics, motor control and neurological insult.

Mandy is a former collegiate athlete and a PSIA certified ski instructor. She enjoys music, reading and frolicking in the outdoors on two wheels, two feet or two skis.

Kim Gillett

Kim received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2011 from the University of Central Florida and worked as a running coach and personal trainer for several years. When she moved to Utah in 2015 she worked as head technician for a physical therapy clinic which led her to pursue a career as a PTA. Kim has been a practicing PTA at Mountain Top since February of 2020, shortly after obtaining her PTA degree at SLCC. When she's not working Kim enjoys dancing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking and snowboarding.

Sonja Taylor

Sonja Taylor
PTA

Sonja is originally a Florida native and has been practicing as a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2008 and has been with the MountainTop team since 2016.  She has had the opportunity to practice in a variety of therapy settings, including inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient rehab. The outpatient/orthopedic setting has been the most rewarding, where she is able to focus and grow her skills in manual therapy techniques and corrective therapeutic exercises.

Sonja also holds a 200 hour yoga teacher training certification that she completed in 2008. She has enjoyed teaching a weekly yoga class at a local SLC company since 2016. She enjoys combining her love of yoga with her training of anatomy and movement while working with both her patients and yoga students.

Sonja loves living and playing in the Utah mountains and being active whether it’s hiking, biking, skiing or practicing yoga.

Pedro Serrato a Utah Native, has been practicing as a PTA since 2012 and a LMT since 2008. Over the years, Pedro has worked in various patient settings including inpatient rehab, outpatient, and being a Director of Rehab for a Skilled Nursing Facility.Through continued passion for health and wellness Pedro received his Certification in Personal training in 2015. As a LMT Pedro has worked for the Utah Utes football and gymnastics team and with professional CrossFit athletes. Pedro’s passion for an active lifestyle provides high quality and compassionate care while helping patients maximize their functional potential.

Valerie Goldman

Valerie Goldman

Valerie moved to Utah from Seattle and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2010 from the University of Washington. She was drawn to the practice of physical therapy as she recognized the positive influence physical therapy contributes to mental health and completed her Physical Therapist Assistant certification in 2012. She has had the opportunity to practice in a variety of environments including pediatrics, in-patient TCU, skilled nursing, outpatient and has been a part of the MountainTop team since 2022. Valerie enjoys working in outpatient orthopedics and helping patients heal and achieve their goals through manual therapy techniques and neuromuscular training. She also has a special interest in working with people with Parkinson's Disease and was a volunteer captain with the University of Washington's Pedaling for Parkinson's research team.

Jason Bell

Jason Bell

Jason is the Co-Director of Performance Enhancement and Wellness for MountainTop Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. Working within an integrated team approach, he designs transitional rehabilitation programs, provides patient care, personal training and the design and implementation of performance enhancement programs for athletes. Jason developed NEXTLEVEL NFL Combine and Pro-Day Training, preparing draft eligible players for the NFL Combine and Pro-Day. He worked as the Assistant Strength Coach/Corrective Exercise Specialist for the University of Utah Football program. He served as a Corrective Exercise Specialist consultant for Clutch Players and Reebok with college and NBA bound basketball players. He developed and instructed the Orthopedic Assessment course for the Sports Massage Career Track at the Utah College of Massage Therapy and the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Jason holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with emphasis in Rehabilitation Science from California University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Utah. Jason is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Full Body Certified Active Release Technique Provider, FSMTB Licensed Massage Therapist and an AOTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Jason is a veteran of the US Navy, Special Warfare Combatant Craft-Crewmen (SWCC) Special Boat Unit 11. He is married to Jennifer Bell. They have two sons, Tristan and Austin.

Dymond Unutoa

Dymond has been with MountainTop PT since August of 2008 and serves as the Co-Director of Strength and Conditioning and PTA. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Fitness Leadership in 2005. He served as a full-time student athlete at the U of U, while playing football as a cornerback under Urban Meyer and Kyle Whittingham.

Upon graduation, Dymond is a Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist through UCMT and specializes in sports and orthopedic massage assisting in function, movement and recovery by manually aiding tissue restoration. After being awarded an internship with ReaL Salt Lake, he spent the 2007 season assisting both the training and strength staff in athlete preparation, recovery and sports performance. In 2015, he added his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) to his training regime. Dymond’s passion sits on aiding all individuals in obtaining optimal performance through comprehensive approaches via exercise, manual therapy, and rehabilitation/prevention.

Dymond is married to his wife, Tracy, and they have a son, Abraham. He spends his off time enjoying life with them.

Bill Castillo

Bill Castillo is a native of New York City. He has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 27 years. Bill enjoys the physicality of his career and so he attained the following certifications; Certified sports massage therapist, Group Fitness instructor, Orthopedic massage therapist, Personal Trainer. Getting his manual skills training from his mentor James Waslaski. He has been able to work as a Manual therapist/trainer with the University of Central Florida, Winter Park HS Florida swimming team, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks team and professional Beach Volleyball team member. He has used his proficiency with several Hollywood celebrities as well.

Bill is married to his wife Vicky of 33 years and enjoys training with his 30-year-old son in Muay Tai/kickboxing and dancing with his 24-year-old daughter. Bill's therapeutic philosophy is to asses, treat, and correct the imbalances of the dysfunction while matching the technique used in the therapy. He believed in educating patients/clients about their condition and teaching them how to correct their own imbalanced muscles. This will ultimately lead to healing the dysfunctions with independent home exercises

Amanda Stein

Amanda Stein

Amanda grew up in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Utah in 2004 to finish her BS in Exercise & Sport Science at the University of Utah.

Following graduation, she completed several personal training certifications from NASM and began her career in personal training and nutritional counseling. Over the last 18 years, Amanda has worked in several local gyms, including Silver Mountain Sports Club in Park City for 8 years. She expanded her career in health & wellness by joining the Mountain Top team in August of 2022 as a therapeutic exercise instructor. 

Amanda also has a notable online presence, running and moderating the content of several mental health and personality disorder support spaces worldwide, with 3.6 million content views. 
Amanda’s most accomplished physical challenge was summiting Mt Nebo, the tallest peak in the Wasatch Mountain Range which stands at 11,900 feet, in July of 2017. 

Outside of work, Amanda is dedicated to her fitness routine, and spending time with her daughter Aspen, visiting The Aquarium, Hogle Zoo, and Get Air Trampoline Park.
